Five Reminders I Often Give Myself

I don’t think I’m qualified to give others advice on video creation, but these are the questions I constantly ask myself:

Why am I creating this?

What message or emotion is this film trying to convey?

What new tools can I try to achieve clearer expression or stronger cinematic quality?

Does my editing make the film more engaging? Am I too attached to certain shots that should really be cut?

Am I satisfied with this piece—satisfied enough to share it publicly on social media?
